Baby Belling

As technology advances, things seem to either increase dramatically in size (huge IMAX cinema screens) or shrink to dinky proportions (iPod Nanos). Sometimes it can seem like it’s merely for show, and that the designers have forgotten that size really isn’t everything; who needs a mobile phone the size of a matchbox? Do its minute dimensions make it any more user-friendly?

Sometimes, however, making something smaller is exactly the right thing to do. Belling have been manufacturing the classic Baby Belling since 1970, currently in the UK, and its ongoing popularity is testament to the benefits afforded by its design. Small enough to fit in (and complete) even the smallest of kitchen spaces, it’s a cute oven and hob combo that works just as well as its bigger relatives. It’s available as a 32 amp wire-in unit for fitting in a permanent position, or with a 13 amp plug.

The combination of a two-element hob and surprisingly spacious oven (it can hold a 12lb turkey, and also has a fixed grill) means that the Baby Belling is all you need to cook a complete meal. The Baby Belling’s handsome and easy-to-clean white enamel finish and integrated power-on and oven-on lights mean that, as well as being a space-saving solution, it looks just as good as its larger cousins.  The Baby Belling; because sometimes, good things really do come in small packages.
