As technology advances, things seem to either increase dramatically in size (huge IMAX cinema screens) or shrink to dinky proportions (iPod Nanos). Sometimes it can seem like it’s merely for show, and that the designers have forgotten that size really isn’t everything; who needs a mobile phone the size of a matchbox?
